-
Registration for all leagues is
$35/child.
-
In 2007, Flag Football and
Cheerleading may now register online.
The registration process is the
same for Flag Football and all levels of Cheerleading,
but different for Tackle Football.
-
For Flag Football &
Cheerleading, all you have to do is register online.
At this time you will receive a receipt via e-mail.
Then, in early August, you will be contacted by your
coach informing you of your team and practice
information.

For Tackle Football, there are
3 steps to registration:
1. Registration
2. Physical
3. Sign Equipment Form/Pick up
Equipment
The NEFL will conduct several
sign-up days where you will be able to do all of
these steps at once.
For those who prefer, the NEFL
will conduct 2-3 sign-up days when a physician will
be available to provide the required physical for a
$25 charge.

The league will make a best effort to place siblings on the same
football/cheerleading teams. These requests should be written, by mail or
e-mail, no later than July 30th.
All tackle league players will need a signed Physician's release form in
order to participate. During several spring and summer signup sessions, a
physician will be available to provide a physical examination. Where and how
you get your physician's release is up to you, but equipment will not be
provided until the release is properly signed.
Equipment is handed out at many of the spring and summer signup sessions. If
you sign up by mailing your registration (and fee) into the PO Box, you will
need to watch this web site for announcements regarding equipment handout days.
There are several camps available throughout the spring and summer. Some are
free, and some require participation fees. Watch the News section of this web
site for dates, times and registration information.

The season typically starts with a mandatory clinic for the
tackle players the last week of July or the first week of August.
At the conclusion of camp (usually about 3-4 days), coaches will
meet with their league commissioner. Flag players will be assigned
teams. The tackle leagues will conduct a blind draft. Generally
within 2 weeks of the start of the practice season will be the
Jamboree. Therefore, your coaches will be calling each player to
notify the player of their team, practice nights/times, and other
pertinent information. Because of the number of activities that
need to occur in a short time span (between late July and mid
August), there is very little notice (only a few days) given to
players before practice starts.
The season begins with the Jamboree in Mid-August. Games will begin before
or after Labor Day weekend depending on how many teams are in the league. Games
have so far not been held on Labor Day weekend, except for the Grinders. The
season looks to conclude sometime in October with a tournament potentially
scheduled for the tackle
leagues only (scoring is not used in Flag).
The Grinders are the Noblesville Elementary Football League travel team.
They are players selected by the Grinders coaches. The review process typically
occurs during the summer camps, and the pre-season clinics. Grinder
Cheerleading is the girls travel cheerleading squad that accompanies the
Grinders. They are selected during a try-out clinic held in early summer.
All practices and games this year will occur at the new football complex
located at the new James Dillion Park (located behind the Kroger store) at 146th
Street and Hazel Dell.
